No publisher is listed on the jacket or disc labels, and none appears on-screen. However, the reference number would appear to indicate Jei Wea Co., Ltd. as the publisher. Jacket wrongly lists running time as 95 minutes.

The same film was also released by this publisher in a shorter version with totally different jacket art as [JWL083]. That version has one less chapter marker, and was pressed at a different manufacturing plant.

In a direct side-by-side comparison of the two Taiwanese releases, I found that there is footage missing in several scenes from the other release, as follows:

• There is significant gore shown in the scene of the evil cyborg punching his fist through Johnson's head, which does not appear on the other release.
• This version has a fight scene in which one of the bad guys says a line ending with, "you motherfucker!" That bit of dialog has been removed from the other release.
• There is a sex scene between Jack and Cathy, which does not appear at all on the other disc.
• Footage of the evil cyborg's head being chopped off and lying on the ground was removed, although there is no actual blood or gore in the shot.
