I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. T-Rex attacks in high definition on MUSE Hi-Vision. I watched red laser beam glitter in the dark near disc surface. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

 Additional Information

Sample from the estate of David P. Goldstein, VP CBS/Fox Video. Only the plain white cover had Japanese "Sample..." sticker. Disc labels are same as retail. Note the low Side A & B serial stamps are off by 3 here, but match on the retail mint at 359. Meanwhile Side C & D are a match at 120, but by 531 they are off by 4. With enough Sample examples we may be able to zero in on how many Samples were pulled from the line and get insight into how halves were matched & able to get out of sync, bad discs or simply work flow? With more examples we may also use some math to guess at how many of each unique title run were pressed. We needn't muck up the DB example field with extensive repetition if facility was added to the collection to add mints. Stores as well I suppose. This would have the added benefit of being able to track a disc if sold so that a single disc doesn't end up looking like several in the DB. (Think Carfax for LD)
