Additional Information by laserking (42)   23/05/2018

The mint markings are very unusual on this disc. Although they appear to have originated at Kuraray, the markings on the three sides containing the film have the suffix "-RI", rather than the "-K" normally seen on Kuraray products. Also, they have only batch numbers and no serial numbers. The mint markings on the "dead side" are extremely strange, and look nothing like those on the other three sides. The back of the jacket does contain the statement "MADE IN JAPAN". The reference number is listed on the spine and back of the jacket as PNL-3000. However, it is shown on the disc labels as SD-001, matching the number included in the mint markings. The disc labels strongly resemble those normally seen on releases by Jei Wea Co. Ltd., but only the name and logo of Paramount Home Video appear on the jacket. It is certainly a very mysterious disc indeed.
