This is a slightly edited version, and is several minutes shorter than all of the other known releases of this title. Jacket wrongly lists running time as 90 minutes.

In a direct side-by-side comparison with the U.S. and Hong Kong releases, I found that this version is 7 minutes shorter. It is slightly time-compressed, which partially accounts for the difference in running time. However, there is also footage missing from several scenes, as follows:

• In the early scene when Alex is standing outside the bathroom door reading the love letter to Juliet, the portion when Juliet comes to the door topless has been removed. This results in some of the dialog from Alex being missing as well.
• At the beginning of the scene in which Alex, David, and Juliet break into the locked bedroom, some footage is missing when they find Hugo's naked corpse in the bed.
• During the scene when the three roommates remove Hugo's body from the apartment, the flashback footage has been deleted. This consists of shots of Andy and Tim torturing and drowning the man in the bathtub.
• During the dismemberment and burial of Hugo's corpse, some footage has been removed of David using the hammer to disfigure the corpse's face. Also, some shots have been cut of the bloody bags containing body parts.
• A brief shot of David in the shower has been deleted.
• The ending of the film is noticeably shorter, removing much of the blood from the scene when Juliet kills David and pounds the knife deeper into Alex's shoulder with her shoe. Her line, "You did the right thing, but I can't take you with me," has been deleted, as well as some of the shots as she leaves the apartment. The footage of Alex lying on the floor in a pool of blood after the police arrive is also missing.
