Additional Information by zackspaw (12)   23/10/2016

Published by City Laser and Video Company, Ltd. of Hong Kong. This release runs 80 minutes, but it has also been issued issued and marketed as "The Princess and the Cobbler" with a 72-minute length (with other versions running 91 minutes).

The theatrical release of this project, written and produced by Richard Williams, was literally decades in the making with many, many fits and starts along the way. The resulting production history of this film and its many iterations is absolutely bizarre (with Disney, Warner Brothers and a Saudi prince among the endless list of players) and makes for an interesting read at IMDB.com.
