This disc is part of the LD-COM series. The disc was released to Pioneer staff members with information regarding new Pioneer products and introducing the various Pioneer plants across Japan and the world.

This disc contains the following chapters:

  • Chapter 1: Introduction of the new DVD format by comparing the DVD and LD formats with each other.
  • Chapter 2: Introduction of a new Pioneer DVD-R recording system called LaserMemory.
  • Chapter 3: Pioneer Carrozzeria commercial.
  • Chapter 4: Introduction of the different application fields of the new DVD format such as DVD-ROM and DVD-Audio.
  • Chapter 5: Inteview with the manager of the DVD division.
  • Chapter 6/7: Explanation of the technological aspects of the new DVD format such as MPEG 2 compress and LaserBeam technology.
  • Chapter 8/9: Introduction of the DVD manufacturing system.
  • Chapter 10: Interview with Pioneer's Managing Directing regarding the prospects of the new DVD format.
