Jacket wrongly lists running time as 97 minutes. This version is 6 1/2 minutes longer than the Singapore release [INTG 010-5113]. A direct side-by-side comparison of the two discs revealed that most of the difference in running time is due to time-compression on the Singapore disc. However, there are also a number of other differences, as follows:

  • During the Club Zero armed takeover scene, footage has been removed at two points on the Singapore disc. Approximately 5 seconds of footage is missing showing the first gunman falling backward onto the floor while being shot. Later in the same scene, approximately 3 seconds of footage is missing showing the gunman in the plaid shirt being shot and falling backward onto the top of the bar. Both of these cuts seem to have been done due to the extremity of the violence depicted, as they remove numerous bullet hits and visible blood.
  • During the scene with the drive-by shooting and subsequent chase, two cuts have been made on the Singapore disc. About 3 seconds of footage is missing when the man wearing a blue shirt and backward baseball cap is shot by the gunman with dreadlocks. The last several bullet hits have been removed, as well as the gunman jumping out of the car and shooting him. Later in the chase portion of the scene, when Max's partner, Jimmy, jumps onto the back of the motorcycle the gunman is fleeing on, approximately 3 seconds of footage has been deleted. When the gunman turns and fires his gun, the footage is missing showing the bullets going through Jimmy's body, and blood coming out the back of his coat.
  • During the first meeting at Adam's apartment, 1 second of footage has been removed from the Singapore disc right after Casey says to Max, "Sometimes we do more than talk." The missing footage includes Max's reply, when he asks her, "Like what?"
  • Approximately 6 seconds of footage has been deleted from the Singapore disc during the scene in which Max goes to the morgue to look at Jimmy's body. This cut is due to nudity, as it occurs when Max and the morgue attendant walk past a naked female corpse lying on a table.
  • On the Singapore disc, a large portion has been removed of the scene in which Max and Casey have sex and transform into werewolves. The missing footage is approximately 1:12 of running time.
  • During the scene in which Max and Casey raid the drug dealers' lab, there is about 1 second missing from the Singapore disc as they break the door down. Later in the same scene, there are two additional cuts, totaling approximately 19 seconds. These seem to have been done to remove excessive violence during the massacre of the lab, depicting the drug dealers being shot numerous times and hacked to pieces in gory fashion.
  • During the scene in which Max meets Detective Tom Davies of the Miami Police Department in the holding cell, approximately 3 seconds of footage has been cut from the Singapore disc, when Davies jumps up and rushes toward the bars shouting, "Mother****er!"
  • There are several brief cuts on the Singapore disc during the climactic scene when Max confronts Adam, which appear to have been done to remove cursing. The first cut in this scene, approximately 3 seconds in length, occurs when Max says, "You're a mother****in' werewolf!", and Adam replies, "Was-no word for what I am now." The second cut, about 2 seconds in length, occurs when Casey shouts, "No!" and Max yells, "Sick mother****er!" The third cut, also approximately 2 seconds in length, occurs when Max shouts, "Let that mother****er go!"
  • During the final showdown on the rooftop, there is about 3 seconds of footage missing from the Singapore disc with gory close-up shots of the giant werewolf killing Liza.
All of the deleted footage described above is fully included on this U.S. release.
