Be careful! Two production batches were made from Pioneer USA and DADC USA. The Pioneer release plays just fine. The DADC release is yet-another-rotter.

Both the jacket and the disc carry only a "Dolby Surround" Logo. A "Dolby Digital" sticker was added on front cover after printing and pressing.

Columbia was thinking about recalling this AC3 release right after its release due to inner politics decisions on the format. They finally let it sell on the market.

They also tried to limit the sales perimeter to USA and Canada to avoir massive export to France (due to Luc Besson directing) with a AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN NORTH AMERICA ONLY but failed and title was freely available abroad.

For anyone on the fence: I acquired two copies of this, gambling on getting anything other than the DADC pressings.

Both have LDAC-xxxxxx-x-xx mint marks, and neither have any noticeable rot. They both look and sound fantastic. Easily one of my favorite discs to date.
