This edition was discontinued, probably due to technical problems or a newly remastered edition.

The aspect ratio on this edition gets wider as the film progresses. By the time the final battle begins the aspect ratio approaches 2.55:1. This is reportedly due to manual corrections (matting) that had to be made to the original, subtitled Japanese master.
