Mousercise was originally released a 12" music LP in 1982. A TV series inspired by the 1982 album was produced in 1983. The Laserdisc is a prodcution inspired by the 1983 TV series. The Laserdisc was produced and released in 1985.

Both the 1983 TV series and the 1985 Laserdisc (and VHS) were hosted by the late actress Kellyn Plasschaert alongside a group of children, and of course Mickey Mouse!
