At the end of each side, there is a supplemental section with all of the storyboards from production of that side.

Side 6 is in CLV and has interviews with the Japanese voice actors, interview with Katsuhiro Otomo, Trailers and TV spots of Akira and other movies worked on by Otomo, Merchandise, Stills and more.

Jacket shows 13 chapters on side 6, but a paper inserted in the box corrects this mistake: chapters 11 to 13 were deleted before production, dropping the running time by 1'51". Side 5 contains 944 stills in chapters 10 to 20.
