An important note regarding versions: There are three versions of this program: two US pressings and one Japanese. The earliest version has a mastering flaw in which the Dolby Digital surround level is set 3db low (AC3 track only, DPL was not affected.)

This fault was corrected for the Japanese version [ID3948ISF], and the second US pressing.

The two US versions can only be identified by checking Side 1, Frame 28100 for the text "AC-3" in the Dolby Digital logo at the top of the screen. If present, it is the first pressing and one must take into account the 3db low signal for the surrounds. The absence of "AC-3" in the logo indicates the second pressing. The catalog and UPC numbers do not distinguish the different US versions.

See Video Essentials Laserdiscs pages on www.videoessentials.com for the official detailed description.
