Special Edition Features (from the back cover):

  • Superscan Hi-Definition Downconversion Transfer: "Capricorn One was transferred on a High Definition Rank Mark III. Using a proprietary process the 1125 line signal was downconverted to 525 line NTSC video, dramatically increasing resolution and colour fidelity while minimizing video artifacts such as moire and twiter."
  • Dolby Digital AC-3 Discrete Six Track Surround: "For this laserdisc release we located the original dialogue, stereo music, effects and surround tracks. We created discrete surrounds and added a subwoofer channel for impact. A new stereo mix was created, optimized for conventional and Dolby Pro Logic systems."
