Caddy is the special clear smoky kind, with content and chapter list printed on the front. Side 1 is sample of releases split into two parts: "New Disc" and "Best Hit". Japanese narration over all segments, with Japanese subtitles over English movies. A couple of the segments are letterboxed. Last chapter of Side 1 is a credit roll of all the titles shown, and afterwards an explanation of the "VHD 1-UP" sticker is given.

Side 1 has constant stereo signal. Side 2 is a catalog of available titles, with no audio (aside from the second-generation VHD intro that begins the side).
