PAYMENT/SHIPPING:

Paypal is the preferred method of payment--simply because it is the fastest.   However, I would prefer that you use the "FAMILY AND FRIENDS" option when making payment.   If you want to use another paper method, notify me when you place your order.   I  will ship to the  LDDB listed address only unless otherwise specified.  Shipping costs for U.S. addresses are $4.75 for the first disc and $.50 (50 cents) for each additional disc in the same purchase order.   For example, a movie with two discs will cost $5.25 to ship via USPS media mail.  Another example:  if you order three titles each one being a single disc, the total shipping will be $5.75.   Box sets may be more based on the weight of the box, book, or whatever may be part of the set. International shipping prices are $3.00 extra for shipping & handling plus U.S. Postal Service rates. Payment must be received within 15 days of purchase. Orders will be canceled if not paid within 15 Days after I send out the total due via Family/Friends in an email.  Returns will only be accepted on defective merchandise within 30 days of receipt of product.

The list below is a quick reference to the cost of United States Domestic shipping costs using USPS media mail as of October 2022. (In a 13 inch square box --not a mailer)

1 Disc------$4.75

2 Discs-----$5.25

3 Discs-----$5.75

4 Discs-----$6.25

5 Discs-----$6.75

6 Discs-----$7.25

        INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS:  For international Payment, I can accept Paypal which most sellers/buyers are familiar with OR I will accept a payment from the TRANSFERWISE payment system.  Tranferwise saves the buyer money because you get a better international exchange rate and it saves me, the seller, money since I don't have to pay the paypal fee AND the foreign currency conversion fee. Transferwise is an international currency system that operates between some (but not all) foreign (not USD) currencies and the US dollar.  You can find further information on this system online.

 Packaging: I use a 13" X 13" X 2" very robust box for shipping.  I don't use the flimsy, LP/LD mailers.  I personally have had LDs  (LP/LD mailers) damaged in the mail using these flimsy mailers.  I remove all discs from the cover for shipping with the exception on new/sealed discs.  For new/sealed discs, I take special precautions to prevent disc movement.

Best Offers:

Generally, my prices are as marked, but if you want to make an offer on an item, just email me at tanjunlaser@gmail.com to make an offer.  Frequently, I will accept a best offer if it seems reasonable to me.

Checking discs:

I want every buyer from my shop to be satisfied with his/her purchase.  I ALWAYS send pictures of the cover prior to accepting payment.  So, when you place an order, I will send pictures of the LD cover(s) along with sending out the total due for the purchase;  so, if you find the pictures/condition of the cover and or discs are not to your liking, don't make payment.  Pictures are always provided for the buyer's approval    I also test play/scan every  opened title prior to shipping to ensure that bad discs don't get sent out.

PICTURES:

If you are interested in a particular title, feel free to ask for pictures of the cover.  I will send out pictures of any cover--just send me a request to:  tanjunlaser@gmail.com.

Other Discs:   I am primarily a collector so I have many, many titles (hundreds of titles at least) not listed in my shop that I have duplicates of.  If you are interested in other titles not listed in my shop, shoot me an email or PM.  I might have the title you are looking for in my shop.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (Updated April 08, 2019):

Below is the response that I gave to a potential buyer regarding international shipping to Switzerland.     The rates have since gone UP in early 2016.  The changes (sometimes pretty radical) are shown in PINKOF PARTICULAR NOTE IS THE DRASTIC INCREASE IN RATES FROM 3 LB, FOR FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL. (2017 prices are shown in pink--Prices have increased for    2018 and again for 2019)   The newest rates are shown in green

Buying one, single  LD is the most expensive international  shipping option since the postal service always has a minimum charge for a parcel.  It gets progressively cheaper the more discs you buy.  One or two discs is about 30 dollars (depending on the destination of the parcel).  Four discs will be about 40~60 dollars, but this depends upon which shipping option you use.  For international parcels, you can use what is called "First Class International Postage" up to 4 pounds weight (about 1.81Kg).  After that weight limit is reached, the only international option from the US to the EU (or anywhere else in the world)  is "International Priority Shipping".  The minimum cost for this is about $40 ($45).
Some data I have are as follows: (for Japanese issue discs--which have slightly heavier covers)

  Single disc weight = 11.5 oz (about 330 grams)
  Double disc = 19 oz = 1 lb 3 oz  (about 530 grams)
  Double disc/gatefold = 23 oz= (1lb, 8 oz)  (about 650 grams)

But these weight don't include packing materials.  In addition, the increments for the First class international shipping are highly non-linear and the cost is non-linear.  Both tend to make it a lot cheaper to buy more than one disc.
   I once sold 7 or 8 different titles to a buyer in Germany and the shipping was about $80~$90 for the entire order.  On a per title basis, that was pretty cheap (compared to shipping a single disc, of course).
   Here are some costs from the USPS website from the US to Switzerland:

For First Class international Mail: (To Switzerland--as an example) (Jan 27, 2019 rates in green)
1 lb =  17.95  ($22.50)  $24.00
2 lb =  25.75   ($22.50) $24.00

2 lb, 0.1 oz =   $37.50
3lb =   33.75   ($34.50) (The price jumps $12.00 from 3.0 lb to 3.0 lb, 0.1oz)

                       ($37.50) (The price jumps $13.00 from 3.0 lb to 3.0 lb, 0.10z)

3lb, 0.1oz     =($49.50) ($61.00) (The price for 3 pounds increased by $11.50)
4lb =            ($49.50) ($61.00) (The price for 4 pounds increased by $11.50)

NOTE:  An "Inversion" occurs at 4 lb (1.814kg).  The price to ship by First Class International Mail is MORE than International Priority mail, even though the First Class International mail is NOT insured and DOES not provide tracking. The  International  Priority Mail DOES provide insurance and tracking and it is cheaper and faster!

For International Priority Mail: (To Switzerland  --as an example)
Note that over four (4) lb (4 pounds weight) (1.81kg weight) you MUST use International Priority Mail--see rates below.  This provides tracking  and insurance (included up to $75 in value--added insurance can be.  (Jan 27, 2019 rates in green)
purchased as well)  For International Priority Mail the costs would be: (UPDATE 5/28/16:  The Pink prices are for shipping to Switzerland; the Red Pricing is shipping to the UK (GB and Ireland)
1 lb (0.453kg) = $42.75    ($44.25)   ($48.50) ($47.80)
2 lb (0.907kg) = $45.60    ($47.20)   ($52.75)  ($51.20)
3lb (1.360kg)  = $48.45    ($50.15)   ($57.00)  ($54.55)
4lb (1.814kg)   =$51.30    ($53.10)   ($61.25)  ($57.90)
5lb (2.267kg)   =$54.15    ($56.05)   ($65.50)  ($61.25)
6lb (2.721kg)   = $56.90   ($58.90)   ($68.85)  ($64.10)
7lb(3.175kg)    =$59.80    ($61.75)   ($72.20)  ($66.95)
8lb(3.628kg)    = $62.40    ($64.60)   ($75.55)  ($69.80)
9lb  (4.082kg)  = $65.15    ($67.45)   ($78.90)  ($72.65)
10lb  (4.536kg) =$67.90    ($70.30)                  ($75.50)

So you can see the pricing is highly non-linear and you pay the most for shipping a single title.  For example, for 10 lb you could easily ship 8 single disc titles, but the cost is less than 50% more than shipping a single title.  Also, the shipping can vary, as for example, between Switzerland and UK as shown between the pink prices (Switzerland) and the Red pricing (UK). It costs more to ship to the UK than Switzerland.
  Also, note that I add in $3.00 to the USPS shipping cost for international sales.  This is to cover the exchange rate cost (about 1% of the TOTAL payment sent) AND for accepting the cost of the postage via Paypal + exchange rate which comes to a little over 4% of the total postage cost,  as well as to pay for the NEW, high quality boxes I use (not LD/LPmailers), filling out the customs form and extra light packing materials.

For our Friends In Canada:

 These prices taken from the USPS website (Feb 13, 2018) (First Class international mail rates are available ONLY up to 4 pounds (1.81kg)  The rates shown below are based on a parcel size of 13" X 13" X 2" to postal code V5K-Vancouver, BC (Eastern Canada will probably be slightly more in postage cost).  There is NO MEDIA MAIL rate to Canada.  Media mail is for US domestic addresses only.

First Class Internation Mail rates
1 lb  $16.00
2 lb= $16.00
2 lb, 1.0oz = $25.25  (Notice the "step jump" from 2.0 lb to 2.0 lb, 1.0 oz , a jump of $9.25)
3lb, 0.0 oz =$25.25
3lb, 1.0 oz = $37.25  (Notice the "step jump" from 3.0 lb to 3.0 lb,1.0oz--4 lb costs the same as 3 lb., 1.0oz a jump of $12.25)
4lb =$37.25     (This (4.0 lb)  is the  maximum weight allowed for First Class International Mail)

For International Priority Mail the rates are:
1 lb  $33.00
2 lb= $35.65
2 lb,1.0oz =$38.30
3lb =$40.95
4lb =$40.95

FOR NEW SEALED DISCS:
  Whenever I ship a new/sealed disc, I ALWAYS sandwich it between two pieces of cardboard very similiar to a "compression sandwich" so that the discs cannot move during shipping.
The extra cardboard also adds weight to the parcel.
