The first industrial LaserDisc player, designed by MCA DiscoVision in the United States. A Japanese electronics company called Pioneer Corporation was chosen to manufacture it, and the rest is history.

This player is sometimes listed under Pioneer's own name, as the Pioneer PR-7820.
