At the beginning of the disc, the name and logo of Buddha Video appear on the screen. However, those of Gull Audio-Visual International Marketing Co., Ltd. are also shown on the back of the box. This is packaged as part of "The Best Collection", and the spine of the box bears the volume number 5 in this series.

With the film letterboxed at its' original theatrical aspect ratio, there would have been plenty of room to place the Taiwanese subtitles out of picture in the black letterboxing band. However, for some unknown reason, the disc producers chose to place them in the picture instead.

Most of the text on the box appears to have been directly copied from the U.S. 35th Anniversary Edition release [ML104668], although much of it is incorrect for this release. For example, the front of the box states "Commemorative 35th Anniversary CAV Standard Play Edition", although this release is CLV on all 4 sides. Also, the text on the back of the box indicates that the theatrical trailer and documentary on the making of the film are included, as they were on the U.S. 35th Anniversary Edition release. However, neither of these extras actually appear on this Taiwanese release.
