This film was shot as one long epic but was fragmented into "Parts I and II" as the overall theatrical run time was deemed too long for the Hong Kong market. Part 1 was shown in January an part 2 was shown in May of 1993.

Side A starts with a trailer for Lord of East China Sea. Movie run time on Side A is about 30 minutes. Side B is 34 minutes.
