Each songs comes with Roman Spelling on top of the normal Chinese characters. This LD and the whole series has only Hokkien (Taiwanese) songs. There is another series for the Mandarin (Chinese )songs, but the name of the Mandarin songs series is Diamond, not Ruby.

There is no brief opening in the chapter 0 of side A, which shows the scenic locations where the videos were shot, like how the other LDs by Jient Ya Trading Co., Ltd. has. Side A is started directly with song number 1 and so does side B. This LD and all the LDs released by Diamond Entertainment Co., Ltd. are rare though, no other information about this LD and also the others.

Vocals are only on the analog channel. Lyrics are shown at the bottom of the screen for sing-along. The jacket wrongly listed running time as 115 minutes. The name of this LD is 紅寶福建金曲 1 which is written on the disc label and the side cover, but the jacket front cover wrote 紅寶福建精選 1.
