This title is listed as available in Nov/Dec83 in the Autumn 1983 LaserVision Album Catalogue, published by Philips Electronics for the UK PAL market. It again appears in the September and Winter 84 catalogue as 'delayed from earlier releases, now scheduled to appear shortly - check with your Album Stockist for specific details'.

The Funhouse was released in the UK by CIC in June 1983 on VHS, Betamax and Video2000, and was dragged into the whole 'video nasties' debate going on in Britain at the time. The film was unsuccessfully prosecuted as a video nasty, but I guess all this led to the delay, and ultimately, the cancellation of this Laserdisc.
