Additional Information by laserking (43)   23/02/2011

Promotional disc for a Sony microcomputer of the era, the SMC-70, giving an overview of its' features, and the various peripherals and accessories available for it. The disc features two different mono soundtracks on the lsft and right audio channels, one with narration in a "conversational style", and the other in a "business style". Channel 1/L commentary features a male announcer, and channel 2/R features a female announcer. The program has an appearance by a Sony laserdisc player from the period, the LDP-1000, which was designed to interface with the computer. The program is fairly entertaining to watch, due to the stilted narration, horribly outdated graphics and clothing styles, and the bulky, archaic appearance of the computer equipment depicted. The disc is truly a relic of its' era.
