This is an edited version, and is slightly shorter than the U.S., Japanese, and German releases. With the film letterboxed at the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio, there was plenty of room for the Mandarin subtitles to be placed out of picture. However, for some unknown reason, the disc producers chose to place them in the picture instead.
