Additional Information by laserking (42)   17/12/2008

Released as a joint effort by MTV and Pioneer to be used as an in-store exhibition to promote sales of new music releases. Includes shortened versions (approximately 1-2 minutes in length) of 64 music videos by various artists. It is uncertain whether or not Tower Records/Video was involved in this production. There are no promotional spots for the store included in the program, and there are no references to them on the jacket or disc labels, as was the case with the later discs in the series. There are, however, the same promotional spots for MTV and for a Pioneer laserdisc/CD changer that appear on the later discs. Disc labels wrongly indicate that the disc is CAV, and do not indicate which is side 1 and which is side 2.
