The 1984 FIA World Endurance Championship was contested over an eleven race series with the WEC race featured on this disc being the Mount Fuji 1000 Kilometres round held on the 30th September 1984 at the Fuji Speedway in Japan - this was the ninth round in the series.

Released on laserdisc & VHS video in Japan only - looks to have been issued in late December 1984 but cannot confirm. There is no commentary at all on this disc, only the sound of the cars running & the ambient track sounds with occasional music though not much - there are no comments/interviews with any of the drivers or team members.

With the exception of the title on the front cover & the race results in a small section on the rear cover which are in English all the text is in Japanese on the cover & on the obi.
