"The Rose" is one of the last LDs to be released in the MVC-style jacket. This title was found among 20th Century-Fox Video and CBS/FOX Video releases when it first appeared in 1982, perhaps it was delayed for some reason? It is also one of the few to offer CX-noise reduction. Pressed in the U.S., this title has a unique statement explaining the CX system that is not found on any other LD release. The statement refers to the benefits of CX-encoded vinyl LPs, rather than LDs.
