Laservision disc published by Sony for promotion of their Betamax format (newly) developed Hi-Fi Stereo capability. VHS had yet to go 'hi-fi'. The program consists of the following clips, most (but not all) of which I have identified from their LD counterparts, listed here.
The disc itself does NOT promote laserdiscs, its all about promoting Sony Beta Hi-Fi video cassettes. The end of each clip shows a still of the Beta Hi-Fi tape, its price and duration. Between some of the clip a woman (real) and a man (animated, cut-out cardboard style) talk to each other in various sylized background settings. The back cover lists the Beta Hi-Fi video cassettes for sale at the time (1983-1984), price, catalogue number, etc. Some of the film clips are in original language and letterboxed with Japanese subs below the film frame.
