This is a pretty shoddy laserdisc transfer from Thorn EMI's video cassette version of Dune. The front and rear covers have, literally, copies of the front and rear parts of the video sleeve. Although the laserdisc cover is gatefold the interior holds reproductions of the front video cassette sleeves of several other releases that Thorn EMI no doubt hastilly transfered to laserdisc. The movie is pan&scan although the title sequences are letterbox. The transfer to laserdisc is poor with noticable picture judder in places.

Not a recommended version of this very underated sci-fi epic.
