This is one of the early PDO pressed BBC Video laserdiscs. This though is like many of these early PDO BBC laserdiscs pressings & suffers from the dreaded "rot" with many now showing severe laser rot - many had the problem from "new" with as many as 50% of some PDO BBC titles being returned to retailers & dealers soon after purchase.

On disc 1, after a brief introduction, probably from 1980 (the host tells the viewer that the documentary was filmed 12 years before), featuring an 1/8th scale model of the Union Pacific "Big Boy", the documentary "4472: Flying Scotsman" Internet Movie Database LaserDisc Database from 1968 is shown. On disc 2 is the documentary "The Romance of Indian Railways" Internet Movie Database LaserDisc Database ("The World about Us" S4E84) from 1975.
