Despite different chapter marks, Side 1 ends and Side 2 begins the same way as the USA laserdisc. Since the French dub is used, the opening/closing credits, the back of Buzz Lightyear’s box, “Don’t Count on It” and “NOT A FLYING TOY” texts were displayed in French instead of translation through subtitles. Since parts of it were taken from an original French print of the film, the opening credits include an additional credit for CharlÉlie Couture (who wrote and sung the French versions of the songs used in the film), the Visa serial number on the title card, and the end credits displaying the French cast instead of the original English cast. Both French opening/closing credits would be changed on subsequent DVD and Blu-ray releases.
