Two-tracks stereo original mix, no Dolby Surround available in french for this episode, due to limitations of theaters sound systems in France when it was released.

It is also the case of the 1995 THX CAV French LD [113039].

This LD has very poor master quality for picture and sound, and a very very bad pressing from PDO.

The opening crawl on this title is bright orange instead of the yellow font normally used. The other two Star Wars first-release French laserdiscs use the normal yellow crawls.
