Contains episodes 1-13 nicely remastered, with great picture and awesome audio tracks. Each LD has its own jacket.

Comes with several extras:

  • LD #7 side 2 is labeled "Appendix" and contains a 20 minutes bonus program including TV spots, character files etc...
  • Also comes with high quality booklet (almost a book, LD sized)
  • Dolby Digital insert
  • Poster
  • A small piece (stripe) of film reel

Disc 7 Side 2 is CX Analog + Digital, Stereo, Japanese -- a compilation of promotional spots for the OVA and TV series, apparently not THX certified.

On all other sides, Digital Stereo seems to be Dolby Surround downmix of the 5.1 (NOT the original stereo mix), and Analog Mono downmix of original Japanese stereo. There is no English audio.

A note about the logos on each disc with them; Disc 1 has Egypt, Disc 4 has Canyon and Discs 5 & 8 have City. Every disc with logos also contain the THX "Broadway" trailer with the "DVD pitch" deep note on all audio tracks.
