Philippe de Montebello, Director of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, leads a tour of masterpieces from the Met's permanent collection. This "private viewing" covers more than 5,000 years of world civilization and features paintings such as Van Gogh's Cypresses and Vermeer's Young Woman with a Water Jug, artifacts from Egyptian tombs, African wood sculptures, medieval tapestries, and other art objects from around the world.
