Additional Information by laserking (42)   20/02/2012

Although the picture quality is certainly not bad for its' era, this was a very sloppily handled transfer. Portions of the film were mistakenly transferred with the picture reversed, appearing as a mirror image! This is most evident in the scene at minute 49 on side one, in which Clint Eastwood's character is shown reading in his prison cell. In the close-up shot, the words "HOLY BIBLE" can clearly be seen printed on the wrong side of the book cover and in reverse! There are also scenes in the prison mess hall in which Eastwood and other prisoners appear to be eating left-handed, and in Eastwood's cell, where he appears to be chipping out the ventilation grill for his escape in the same manner!
