 Additional Information by je280    05/09/2013

Originally released by BMG VIDEO on VHS very shortly after each Grand Prix throughout the 1991 season (60 minutes running time on each tape). Released on laserdisc in the US with two races per disc & the intention was to cover the complete season. Only two discs were released covering four races in total.

Releasing these more than two years after the races were run was perhaps not the best idea as F-1 does not have a wide following in the US. Sales were very poor when they were eventually released. They were due to be pressed two discs at a time with the release dates two or three months apart but given the lack of interest from dealers/retailers (advance orders were almost nil) no further discs were issued. The other disc is [BMG800576] with the Phoenix & Brazilian Grand Prixs. Released in Japan on laserdisc by BMG Victor Inc. One race per disc (the Brazilian GP is on [BVLX-114]) but not all the seasons races were released.
