 Additional Information by 2fast4eyes (1)   24/09/2018

This first video release of Batman had the brightness slightly increased from the film print due to complaints that the film was too dark.

 Additional Information by thecatdrums3 (1)   26/04/2021

Film print used for this transfer has a slightly expanded ratio of 1.66; the back cover states it is matted to preserve the theatrical widescreen presentation. Compared to all other releases this shows more image & has the “original” stereo audio; all other releases of batman have a newly made 5.1 track that changes multiple sound effects.
