Guest stars include The Supremes, Rick James and the New Edition. First part of a six part music series dedicated to the music and performers of Motown. Filmed on location at various Detroit venues, including the original Hitsville Studio, The Roostertail and Fox Theater. Aired on TV 24 August 1986. Includes a 4-page insert primarily in Japanese, with the Chapter List also in English.
