The Japanese laserdisc contains the international release version of the film, featuring the uncensored death of one character at the end (a digital smoke effect was added to the American theatrical cut to obscure the gore).

The disc is only partially letterboxed to about 2.00:1 and has a very poor picture transfer, even worse than the American disc. Its collectibility lies in its very nice gatefold jacket, which has much better artwork than the American LD.
