All the featured material (except disc 4) is the Brunswick Films footage - all the dialogue is in Japanese. The footage on disc 4 was filmed in 1995 at the Donington Grand Prix Collection showing various cars in the collection plus early F-1 footage, some in black & white. Sound on all the discs is in mono.

The enclosed large format insert booklet is all in Japanese with very nice period colour pictures. Each of the four discs has its own separate cover - tinted with black & white pictures. The issue of this set brought the years covered by Pioneer to include all years from 1970 to 1996 with the exception of the 1986 season which was issued on [MCLF-001].
