This release uses the original 1993 broadcast version of "The Wrong Trousers" which features background music that was changed for later DVD and Blu-ray releases of the film.
It is not mentioned anywhere outside the end credits but The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave are both Dolby Surround. A Grand Day Out is mono.
A Close Shave may have premiered theatrically in film festivals with a theatrical aspect ratio of 1.66:1 like in the HD remasters. If this is the case, then the 4:3 presentation on this LaserDisc and many earlier releases are technically open matte.
"A Grand Day Out" and "The Wrong Trousers" are slowed down in speed and pitch to 23.976fps unlike the VHS releases of that time, while "A Close Shave" is in its original speed and pitch of 25fps.
At the end of side 2, there is an SMPTE test card.
