This laser disc in transfered from a 1923, German re-issue, full-frame early generation 35mm print, at 18 frames per second.

The English translation titles are graphic reproductions of the original Expressionist titles that were replaced by plain black and white titles in 1923.

A new musical score was created for the film and digitally recorded.

After the film a collection of original graphic materials which are discussed in the audio essay.
