This is the only home video version released in the United States, on any format, to be in it's original Widescreen presentation. The US VHS & DVD release is sadly Pan & Scan, only the UK DVD is Widescreen. However sometimes it is shown on TV in widescreen.

Only widescreen American release until its 2019 releases on Blu-ray (as a Disney Movie Club exclusive) and Disney+.

The 2001 UK (PAL) DVD seems to have been created from the same master and has the same cut, which is the original theatrical version. However, the Disney Movie Club Blu-ray Disc version has been slightly censored in a few frames that were evidently considered a tad too risque for teen audiences in 2019. It's pretty minor, but this LaserDisc and the PAL DVD appear to be the best transfers of the original version.
