Welles' original version as it appeared at the 1952 Cannes Film Festival where it won the Palme D'or.

A new transfer, supervised by Peter Bogdanovich and Maria Palazzola, is accompanied by screen specific commentary from Bogdanovich, as well as Welles' scholar Myron Meisel.

The digital transfer was created from the 35mm composite fine-grain master made from the original camera negatives.
