To insure that all of the film's picture area was captured, this film was window-boxed during transfer. As a result, some television sets will display a black border on one or more sides of the picture. This is a normal condition for a film such as City Lights.

Part of a series under the banner "Chaplin: A Legacy of Laughter"

Side four contains extensive supplementary material (chapters 20-25).

I have two copies of this title, one has a few light speckles nothing to worry about. But on my second copy, side two, chapter 16 has deathly laser rot and from chapter 15 on it will not play. Sides three and four are Mitsubishi perfect!
