Additional Information by cyclograph (5)   09/10/2002

This is the 1988 Image Entertainment set with one episode per disc.

There were two pressings: initially by Technidisc, later by Kuraray. The early Technidisc pressing is a known rot risk and can be identified by the mint marks, jacket printing, and opening bumper. Later jackets with Kuraray discs have "Manufactured in Japan" on the back either printed or as a sticker.

These also have the modern Image bumper with a close-up of a laser scanning a LD surface - the Technidisc uses the old (ugly) LD spinning out of the cityscape sunset bumper.

 Additional Information by gardener_50    12/10/2005

The Technidisc pressing has no chapter stops, only time search.

On my copy the side one label is on the *playing side* of the disc.
