Contains the entire 26-episode Dirty Pair TV series from 1985 and the entire 10-episode Dirty Pair OVA series from 1987-88. Does not include Affair of Nolandia or Flight 005 Conspiracy.

This isn't advertised, but the opening and ending themes of the Dirty Pair OVA series are presented in stereo.

Comes with a full-color booklet full of background information and concept art as well as a pencil board featuring the cover art. Also includes a flyer which announces the new Dirty Pair OVA which would be known as Dirty Pair Flash, and reveals that series' new designs for Kei and Yuri.

This box set has has the title ダーティペアの大決算 (Dirty Pair no Daikessan; "Dirty Pair's Big Payoff") as the winning result of a naming contest for the set. On the individual jacket spines, it's referred to by this title preceded by the more straightforward English title of "Dirty Pair LD Box."
