Additional Information by laserking (42)   11/12/2008

Documentary focusing on the painting and teaching ideas of one of the most important and influential artists of the 20th century, Philip Pearlstein. Includes over 2000 still frames containing the complete work of the artist from the 1950's until the time of the disc's release.

Portions of the disc have alternate commentary tracks on the two audio channels. Includes a 4-page black & white insert giving the titles and years of release of the works of art. The insert has a chapter and frame number directory to use in accessing the artwork images. I have found this title listed in two print catalogs from the period, but no reference number is given in either of them, and none is shown anywhere on the jacket or disc label. In one of the catalogs, this is listed as a Voyager title, but the jacket lists the publisher as Interactive Media Corporation, New York, NY.
