The African Queen was one of the first Magnetic Video titles. It was repressed in Japan later in 1981 after Discovision's demise, using the same master and catalog number but replacing the MVC logo in the bottom corner with MAGNETIC VIDEO printed in bottom right corner of cover. Later repressed for a third time by CBS/Fox Video using the same catalog number [2025-80].
