Although this was not a general studio release, it was the last laserdisc available for sale to the general public, from the website http://www.dragons-lair-project.com.

There were a total of 400 of these discs pressed and each are numbered. It is a repressing of the 1983 laserdisc, with additional Don Bluth animation at the end of the disc that was not on the original 1983 pressing. The arcade machines could be programmed to play the video game with these additional levels. The jacket is just a generic Imation cover, but there is Don Bluth artwork on the disc itself.

Not sure this is the last LD ever pressed - I have in my hands right now a LaserDisc titled UK Disney Store Q3-02. This is an NTSC disc and was used as promotional material in the UK Disney Store. It was made by Imation and has the code number 34348A which is one higher than the Dragon's Lair Disc. I do in fact have a suite of 6 titles from 1999 to 2002, so it appears Imation were still pressing LD for Disney into 2002.
