Japanese release of Michael Mann's thriller is partially letterboxed (cropped to approximately 2.00:1) and has a terrible video transfer. The disc remains highly collectible for its extremely nice gatefold jacket, the artwork of which features still photos from deleted scenes.

As mentioned above a very soft transfer, rather ironic as it was released under the "KURARAY VIDEO SOFT" label. Also as mentioned the cover is very nice. Features unused production shots including body tattoo images & the cover front image is striking - a nicely presented laserdisc feature.
