Additional Information by joshzyber (1) 21/06/2003

An offshoot of the "Qatsi" movies from Godfrey Reggio (Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi), Baraka was directed by cinematographer Ron Fricke. The film is a stream of images from 24 different countries, photographed in 70mm, and contains no dialogue.

The laserdisc edition includes a small printed card with a map to all of the filming locations.
